Lootverse is a fantasy parallel world that arose from crowdsourced creativity and is constantly evolving to become a place where all users from several generations and backgrounds will be able to interact and bring their ideas to life. Lootizens, citizens of this world, will have the chance to transform their plot, changing the landscape, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. To provide a few inspirational ideas, our editors selected five actions Lootizens will find out to make the most of their experience in the world.
#1: Develop Buildings, Units, and Other Structures
Owning a plot of land is the first step any user needs to take to become a Lootizen. That can be done by joining the auctions in Satoshi’s Lounge, Lootverse’s official marketplace, to buy their property. However, the real fun begins once the plot is minted and available for use. In the coming weeks, landowners will be able to establish the buildings and units directly from The Fund’s portal. This feature will allow users to bring their ideas to life, develop their properties and create residential or commercial areas.
The buildings and units are minted and tagged to the plot, which is also an NFT. Although both buildings and units are made of two parts: the structural NFT, which cannot be changed, and the visualization matrix, which can be modified with time. Structural NFTs are 2D spatial structures from metadata provided by the user to the system. It seems complicated, it doesn’t require any previous knowledge of architecture or any other technical training.
Soon, Lootizens will be able to access The Fund and follow simple steps to improve their land. The first thing is creating a basic building plan and a unit plan for each building, containing the required details in two separate PDFs. Then, they will include the building and the unit data, each with its corresponding plan, and create a site plan with design assets for Lootverse’s map. Once they are done, it’s time to mint the building, the units, and their metadata as NFTs.
It seems like a lot of work, but the system is being developed to be intuitive and user-friendly to offer an easy and seamless experience. The second part is to develop the plot’s landscape in working on the visualization matrix of the buildings and units. That means, adding design elements to beautify the structures and create immersive and realistic environments. Early adopters of this parallel world are already setting the initial urban areas with futuristic views for new residents and visitors to explore. Property owners can release their creativity and come up with unimaginable buildings.
Lootizens who are not inclined to work on the design of their own plots will then be able to hire one of the portal operators available in the world. Heavenly Development, for example, is the first architecture firm operating directly from Lootverse.
#2: Rent a Unit to Future Residents
While Lootverse evolves in the world builder stage, Lootizens who started their plot developments are aiming to become tenants. They can also sell the finished buildings and units to different Loottizens. The layers related to the ownership unlock many opportunities to them. Unit owners, for example, will be able to rent their units to future Lootizens, who are not interested in buying but rent a residence to join this fantasy universe.
Rentals will be paid in LTT and burnt once the payment is completed, fueling the economic activity within the world. Think about the possibilities for all styles of users. They can try out living in one area for a period and if they are not happy with it, they can move out to another vacant unit in a completely different realm of the map.
#3: Create Immersive NFT Stories
Lootverse’s history encompasses eras of knowledge that have been discovered over time by specialized historians. Ancient archives are revealed from time to time across all 4,880 plots of land in the six realms: Isle of Talos, The Medici Principality, The Great Empire, Royaume de Satoshi, Kingdom of Xbysl, and El Territorio. Lootizens can also contribute to the global narrative, creating their own stories to tag on their land.
Each plot can have up to four NFT stories created directly on The Fund’s portal, under “In World Items”. Using this multimedia format, Lootizens can add text, images, videos, or audios to reach their purpose. They can even include easter eggs in their NFT stories. For those who wish professional help to design their narrative, portal operators like Origins can be a good option.
This Lootverse’s native company has an extensive network of creators and experts in landscape design and concept art worldwide. They work with a creative method to combine the users’ expectations with the world’s macro storytelling, creating a cohesive narrative through all realms.
#4: Offer Products and Services to Lootizens
Another exciting option for Lootizens from several professional backgrounds is to become a Lootian portal operator. A new functionality will be released soon, allowing all interested users to submit their business plan through The Government’s portal. If the plan is approved, they will receive a portal operator’s license to offer their services or products in the world. In simple terms, they will be able to work as authorized vendors in Lootverse.
Beyond that, portal operators with a reserve of LTT can also offer Over-The-Counter (OTC) financial services to users, selling the in-world token at their chosen price. They will manage their assets and operations in The Fund.
#5: Explore The Natural Resources
Finally, lucky Lootizens that own plots of land within the areas gifted with natural resource fields can explore them to sell or generate consumable units. Six mines containing Oil, Natural Gas, Condensate, and Condensate with Oil have been revealed already. The other six fields had only their location discovered, but their elements are still unknown. They may contain regular elements such as water, valuable minerals like gold, or even fantastic items like dragon’s breath and gravity.
To extract those elements, Lootizens must buy a natural resource extraction plant (NREP) and tag it to their plot. Then, they will need utility plants to convert the natural resource tokens into consumable units for their residents. This combination of tools, tokens, and functionalities is currently being developed and may be released over the next few months.
