NeoWorlder’s orbs, each created from a piece of ancient Arcadia, serve as reminders of a bygone era. We have replicated five of Yoel’s orbs in our virtual version of Arcadia to reflect the five different forms of life: Fire, Air, Water, Land, and the mysterious Dark Spirits. Each orb is meticulously created using elements from these unique aspects of Arcadia.
We began with air, the most common element in Arcadia. To create these orbs, we used cells from Arcadian birds and other sky-dwelling creatures. These orbs were crafted with the essence of Arcadian air, thus serving as symbolic representations of the freedom and vastness that the sky signifies in Arcadian culture.
We crafted the Flame Orb using cells from unique fiery creatures, like dragons and fire-spitting beasts. One such beast is the Ganeni, a creature born from a failed experiment by Niefel, the Goddess of Death, in ancient Arcadia. The Ganeni has many tales woven around it in Arcadian history, which you can read more about here. Though the cells used to create these orbs are rare, they showcase the range of life in Arcadia, encompassing beings that, on Earth, we would only consider mythical.
The Ocean Orb was formed using elements from all aquatic life in Arcadia, including water-based vegetation. This orb captures the dual nature of the ocean. On one hand, it embodies the calming and serene essence of the oceans and their rich marine life. On the other hand, it also embodies the ocean’s tumultuous, stormy side. The significance of the Ocean Orb is profound: it serves as a powerful reminder of the balance between tranquility and turmoil that exists not just in nature, but in all aspects of life.
The Land Orb was created using cells from all terrestrial life, including all the Arcadian races (humans, dwarves, Galdarians, etc.), its land-based vegetation, terrestrial animals, and even elements of its terrain, from flatlands to rugged mountains. Given the diversity of life cells in this element, many people are likely to feel a deeper connection to it. The significance of the Land Orb lies in its ability to embody the richness and diversity of terrestrial life in Arcadia, creating a tangible link between humans and the natural Arcadian world around them.
Arcadian mythology has enriched our understanding of Arcadia as a world of both good and evil. With this insight, we used cells from known dark entities in Arcadia, such as demons and mysterious figures of evil, to create the Dark Orb.
Each orb offers a glimpse into the variety of life forms that once thrived in Arcadia and emphasizes their significance. They also highlight the scientific brilliance and creativity of the ancient Arcadians, which we re-created to enhance the user experience, by allowing them to choose the soul type that best aligns with their personality in this parallel world.
When you register, you’ll need to select one of these five orbs. Your orb will be gifted with 100 free health points, which is equivalent to around two months of life. You’ll also receive an additional 210 health points after you complete the walkthrough. Your orb represents your life in Lootverse. To prevent going to the underworld (death), you must regularly replenish your orb’s health.
