The world is moving inexorably towards a version where the border between humans and computers is blurred. We have recently heard of ChatGPT, which has sparked much interest and controversy with its advanced conversational AI engine. It is undeniable that the recent new development in the Artificial Intelligence field is taking the world by storm, proving it to be the next frontier of human interaction.
Our interactions with Artificial Intelligence-based software are fascinating in that it can easily pass the Turing test and offers content in the form of text and images that are indistinguishable from real humans. Platforms like ChatGPT are beneficial in providing increased productivity and speed in content generation to cater to a world where content is being consumed at an increasing rate. It wouldn’t be out of place to imagine a situation in the near future where AI engines do half of the blog articles, social posts, and images generated. This would provide a healthy content stream to satisfy our content-hungry use cases. This also creates a very immersive platform where it is impossible to distinguish between content generated by a machine and other more original content generated by the traditional thoughts and processes of real humans.
A few years ago, the same topic was being discussed about Metaverses – how it is expected to replace actual human interaction. From the look of things, the opposite is going to become a reality – metaverses, like Lootverse, will be a breeding ground for people to have real human interaction. From the onset, this is what we have been trying to build – an environment where you interact with people from a social, financial, and gaming perspective. Lootverse allows people to form groups and engage in competition, real adversity, and form real friendships. This is a far cry from what AI and platforms such as ChatGPT offer – for all the positive things and possibilities they bring forward, they also remove some of the most critical aspects of human life, which is interaction with other people.
Lootverse, in its next iterations, will bring forward a renewed emphasis on allowing people to participate in the community through traditional web-based platforms and innovative 3D environments wholly integrated with our base systems. This will create a world where people tired of artificially-generated content and interactions in websites, apps, blogs, and social networks will escape to the Metaverse for genuine human interaction, where being natural and human is the norm.
