The first quarter of 2022 saw extensive innovation and technological development around Lootverse. This short period saw significant progress; thus, this recap aims to ensure that users know every part of the Lootverse journey.

New Interactive Map

The year started with the ambitious plan of the new interactive map, displaying this parallel world as it is in its most detailed aspects. You can already discover all core sites, businesses, properties, and other unique elements, seen and accessed through the same website. This significant shift opened up the horizon for payments, interactions, and exploration for all types of users.

Three views are already available by clicking on the layers icon located on the right side of the map. The 2D perspective is the default, where you can select from the engine filter which details you would like to see: natural resources, district (plot) zip codes, district sold, currently on sale or reserved, and your own properties.

You can also explore the Underworld view, an upside-down version of this parallel world. From there, only the core sites and the terrain can be seen. The third layer already launched is the Sky. It will shortly showcase all NFTs ever auctioned in Lootverse, displayed as stars as part of their collections forming constellations.

Soon, three other views will also be launched: Satellite, Terrain, and Weather. Together they will engage all users in an even more realistic experience.

Core Destinations

The Arena, Satoshi’s Lounge, The Government, The Fund, and Talos are now integrated and under the same roof. Lootizens can log in directly from the map by clicking on the profile icon. Then, they can quickly search for the core destination they wish to visit instead of doing multiple logins. Tourists can also register by clicking on the profile icon to become Lootizens.

All enterprises are easily accessed through the map as well. By clicking on any business, destination, or landmark name on the plot (district), a side-slider will appear with all information about it and, sometimes, possible actions such as Buy Lootian Tickets (LTT), Join the auction, Make an offer, among others. Users can also leave a comment paying a small fee (0,01 to 0,02 LTT) or click on the bookmark icon (Lootmark) to save the destinations they like the most.

Natural Sciences and History

The Department of Natural Sciences and History has also sped up its research around the origins of Lootverse, revealing essential information to understand the creation and evolution of this land over thousands of years. The complete story of Lootverse is still unknown, but the first pieces of this ancient narrative are being discovered and published here in the Lootverse Gazette. Read more here and stay tuned for the upcoming articles on the topic.

All Lootian documentation is also being curated and provided to the general public on the recently launched Library of Lootverse, which can be accessed from the Government dashboard.

The Fabric Bar

This quarter saw the launch of “The Fabric,” a tool that integrates the Lootian online experience into all external websites operating on in-world properties. The Fabric Bar enables users to make payments with Lootian Credits or TIX, providing a smooth experience across in-world destinations. The Lootverse Gazette was the first website to integrate the Fabric Bar, demonstrating what will come.

The Lootverse Gazette

In this quarter, Lootverse also launched the first metaverse native publication: The Lootverse Gazette. This new channel is your leading destination for the latest news, trends, events, and announcements from this parallel reality. The site is led by experienced editors and specialists who will cover the happenings in Lootverse from an insider perspective.

Relevant discoveries such as the natural resources fields, the mechanics behind Health Points, new information about Lootian mountains, and the ancient story of this world have already been discussed here.

New Financial Services

The financial infrastructure of the world expanded exponentially this quarter as well. Lootizens can now join Lootnance – the first in-world exchange – to trade Lootian Credits for LTT and vice-versa. Lootverse has also launched its own Over-The-Counter facilities model, removing the complexity associated with the commercial activity.

To work as an OTC provider in Lootverse, Lootizens must have a license from the Lootian Government. Then, they can offer services such as Exchange Portals (Peer-2-Peer LTT Sales), OTC Broker Portals (LTT Payment for Vendors), and Loan Providers (Loans of LTT). Read this article to delve into this new business category available to enterprises and Lootizens ready to become portal operators in this parallel reality.

1M USD Paid to Creators

After only eight months of meticulous curatorship work, Lootverse proudly crossed the mark of 140 NFTs minted and over one million USD paid to talented creators worldwide. Artists from all continents are immortalized on the Talos Blockchain and will soon be seen from the Sky Map.

The Arena evolved from the first in-world gamified platform to a core destination where players not only battle for exclusive NFTs but control the issuance of Lootian Tokens, acting as economists of Lootverse.

Media and Partnerships

The success of Lootverse was featured beyond this world. It was showcased in several publications on Earth, like Be In Crypto, Crypto Potato, Tech Times, News BTC, Investing.com, Yahoo Finance, and many others. Lootverse’s discoverers joined exciting AMAs with lively communities, such as the fast-growing Meme Kong Telegram group.

Great partnerships also took off this quarter, like the Pink Panda announcement about the creation of Versa. This portal will allow users to send $LTT and USDC to their own custody outside of the ecosystem. This long-awaited initiative already under development is expected to be available in the second semester. The story was featured on the National TV, Newsmax.

In the wake of these events, Lootizens can expect more innovative features and one-of-a-kind collaborations in the upcoming months. The next quarter has already started and seems optimistic for this parallel world’s explorers.
