The world is inexorably moving towards a version where the distinction between humans and computers is blurred. Recently, the emergence of ChatGPT has sparked much interest and controversy with its advanced conversational AI engine. The new developments in Artificial Intelligence have taken the world by storm, demonstrating that this is the next frontier of human interaction.

Our interactions with AI-based software are captivating because they can pass the Turing test and generate text and images indistinguishable from human content. Platforms such as ChatGPT are advantageous in providing increased productivity and speed in content generation to cater to a world where content is being consumed rapidly. It is not unlikely that, shortly, AI engines may be responsible for producing a large proportion of blog articles, social posts, and images. This would create a steady stream of content to meet our diverse requirements. Furthermore, it would offer an immersive platform where it is difficult to discern between a machine’s content and traditional content.

A few years ago, there was debate about Metaverses potentially replacing real human interaction. However, the reverse may soon become a reality – metaverses, such as Lootverse, will act as a platform for people to engage in genuine human interaction. We have been aiming to construct this – an environment in which individuals can interact socially, financially, and through gaming. Lootverse enables people to form groups, compete and form relationships with one another. This contrasts what AI and platforms such as ChatGPT offer; At the same time, they present numerous positive opportunities and remove some of the most integral components of human life, namely, interaction with other people.

In future iterations, Lootverse will emphasize allowing individuals to participate in the community through traditional web-based platforms and innovative 3D environments fully integrated with our base systems. This will create a world where those weary of artificially-generated content and interactions on websites, apps, blogs, and social networks can find refuge in the metaverse, where being genuine and human is the norm.
