Echoes found in El Territorio tell of an infamous spider that wreaked havoc on the land and instilled fear in the inhabitants of the region in 10000 LCE. In Arcadia, no divine being was as feared as Niefel, the Goddess of Death. She was infamous for her role in the death of Einvaldi, the God of Existence, leading to her banishment from Olympus. Her offense was so severe that Kempe, the King of the Gods, sentenced her to rule over the underworld. However, Niefel was not satisfied with her authority over the underworld and yearned for even greater power and control in Arcadia.

To gain more dominance over the land, Niefel knew she had to create a being of immense strength that could instill fear outside the underworld. To bring this vision to life, she turned to the Hakoritanga ritual, which the Arcadian Gods used to create life. This ancient ritual had been used to create other races in the echoes of Arcadia, including Dwarves, Visskins, Men, Galdarians, and Tortins.

To bring her creation to life, Niefel gathered the celestial blood of Annuler, the Goddess of the Void, and soil from the underworld. The ritual was conducted in the Bosque De Kilam Del Sur, a dark and mysterious forest located in the northern region of El Territorio. This forest is infamous for the numerous stories of Arcadians mysteriously disappearing, with rumors suggesting they were taken to the underworld by demonic beasts.

The Hakoritanga was a long and grueling ritual that required all of Niefel’s power. Upon completing the arduous ritual, Niefel felt a mixture of exhaustion and anticipation, eager to witness the results of her labor. Suddenly, the ground quivered, causing the trees to shake violently and sending animals scattering in fear from the area.

Emerging from the trembling ground was a frightening creature resembling a colossal spider. It had a dark, fur-like exterior, menacing fangs, and a bone-chilling roar that sent shivers down the spines of every being in the realm. Its venom contained a potent neurotoxin that could incapacitate and dissolve the flesh of its victims in a slow and excruciating manner. Niefel named this beast Scott. News of Scott’s creation quickly spread throughout El Territorio, instilling fear in all who heard his name. Even when he posed no immediate threat, the mere fact that Scott emerged from Niefel was enough to earn him a formidable reputation.

The inhabitants of the land were well aware of Niefel’s sinister ways and understood that anything originating from her would be infused with malevolence. Although Scott had become the most feared creature, he was not the sole creation of Niefel. In her quest for influence in Arcadia, she had previously created the Galdarians. By harnessing Annuler’s blood, she unleashed the Galdarians, a wicked race of minions tasked with causing chaos and enforcing her dominion over the land. Once the most dreaded beings in the realm, the Galdarians now acknowledged Scott’s immense power and unrelenting ferocity, recognizing him as a formidable adversary. Instead of avoiding Scott entirely, they devised a cunning plan, understanding that their survival relied on appeasing his insatiable hunger for power.

They began a practice of offering Scott their most valuable possessions, including prized cattle and abundant grains, in an effort to win his favor. Their strategy proved effective, as Scott began extending protection to the Galdarians, shielding them from harm and refraining from sending them to the underworld like other species of the land. The Galdarians’ offerings to Scott became frequent, and it was revealed that these gestures not only appeased him but also augmented his power and influence. This cemented a unique bond between the fearsome spider and the Galdarians, forging an unbreakable alliance.

The creation of Scott is a remarkable event in the history of Arcadia. It is a testament to the incredible power that the gods possessed and how their immense strength could be used for both good and evil. As the NeoWorlder game development team moves forward with the next phase of the Gods and Demons game, players can look forward to exploring the virtual map in search of the Arcadian demons, engaging in epic battles, and winning valuable prizes.
