In the Royaume de Satoshi, located between the majestic peaks of Mt. Merope and Mt. Aphrodite, lies a stunning valley that descends towards an inland waterway. Tales passed down through the ages tell the valley’s remarkable origin story.
The legend speaks of a stone giant, not as immense as a Titan, but still a formidable creature unseen before in Arcadia, that emerged from the depths of the mountains attracted by the clamor caused by the Arcadians and dwarves. Its rampage caused fear among the Arcadians.
Upon learning of the giant’s onslaught, Kempe, the god of civilization, valiantly attempted to defeat it by wrestling with it, but his immense strength was no match for the giant. Fortunately, Jord, the goddess of the land, noticed Kempe’s plight and swiftly summoned her power to create a deep chasm beneath the giant’s feet. As a result, the giant stumbled and became vulnerable.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Kempe drew the sword he had used to vanquish Annuler and thrust it into the giant’s heart. Contrary to expectations, the giant did not explode but transformed into a lush, fertile valley filled with life.
The valley became a haven for wildlife and vegetation, and it was said that Jord herself blessed the land with her power. Over time, the valley became a place of great beauty and significance, drawing visitors from near and far. This legend serves as a reminder of the immense power of nature and the forces that shaped Arcadia.
