Through the concerted efforts of researchers and scholars, the Department of History and Natural Sciences has uncovered the fourth tablet of the origin stories. This particular archive provides new insight into the creation of gods and beasts, offering further depth to the Lootian pantheon and providing information on events following Udrar and Niefel’s betrayal.

“Niefel was cursed to the Underworld for eternity, banished for her act of treason against Einvaldi and all of existence. Kempe could not express his fury at his mother’s betrayal in any Loeic phrase or curse.

The Underworld is the coldest and darkest of places, devoid of light or warmth for any living being. Niefel was doomed to serve as the custodian of the deceased Arcadians who had passed away. Even though Niefel would never again be able to set foot in Olympus or touch the land, this did not stop her from devising schemes of destruction in retribution for Kempe’s punishment of her.

Across millennia, Niefel harnessed her time to bring to life twenty-one powerful beasts. These creatures began to cause havoc and chaos across the lands she could observe yet never touch, still seeking to fulfill her wicked ambitions.

Niefel’s beasts were responsible for calamities and betrayals between nations and nature, even inciting the elements to wage war. However, what was naturally occurring and what resulted from deception is unclear.
