The NeoWorlder Bifrost Center received extensive data from the LX1 Rover during its exploration of Royaume De Satoshi. Our archaeologists discovered the tale of Yoel, an Arcadian inventor who created devices to capture life sources in orbs. The story was recorded during a time of impending doom for Arcadia, which can be felt by reading between the lines. The first of nine parts of the inscriptions recovered in Loeic reads: When Arcadians bid farewellTheir essence, soul, or source from this world does dispelUp to the sky, it makes its wayA flash like lightning, marking the end of its stay In…
The Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences researchers have progressed on the sixth part of the ‘Tale of Mulgarath.’ Here is another excerpt of their work so far. As Mulgarath carries on his heated conversation with the dwarves, tensions rise as the dwarves grasp their axes and hammers, ready for combat. It is clear that this will be no ordinary exchange of words. The Start of Hatred- continued Therrigg scolded Mulgarath, “You’re acting inappropriately. This isn’t the right time or place for this kind of behavior. Keep a cool head, or you’ll get into trouble with Jord.” He firmly…
The researchers and scholars at the Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences are working on translating the fifth part of the Tale of Mulgarath. Below is an excerpt of what was translated to date. As Mulgarath traveled through the harsh, unforgiving landscape, he was struck by the contrast between the viciousness of the world and the kindness he had received from the horned man Luciyal. He learned that the dwarves were no friend to him. The Start of Hatred His journey took him to the western end of Mt. Hercules, where he discovered the dwarves’ chamber, which seemed to…
Through the continued effort of all the researchers and scholars here at the Lootian Department of History and Natural sciences, we have started the translation process for the fourth part of the Tale of Mulgarath. He continues his path to his destiny, exploring the forest and remembering what he had left behind. Lost and Reminiscence Mulgarath followed the wall west of Mt. Ares, staying away from the main paths as he mistrusted the people who had just abandoned him in the forest to die. Now, alone and away from his familiar forest, he was constantly riddled with dread and terror,…
The development of the Lootian epochs was a challenging task to undertake. The translation process that has been completed thus far has denoted many commonalities that are present across the world. These differences come in the form of cultural implications, buildings, architecture, and the heroes that have been present within the lore of the world. The First Epoch The development of the four and, ultimately, five epochs happened as we in the LDHNS were translating tablets and documents that predated our discovery of the world. The first epoch includes all of prehistory and the first 2,500 years, 10,000 to 7,500…
Through the continued effort of all the researchers and scholars here at the Lootian Department of History and Natural sciences, we have started the translation process for the third part of the Tale of Mulgarath. He continues aging with the Horned Man within the beauty of The Great Medusa Forest and finds the abyss within the soul where the Horned Man lives. Destiny Calling “Many years have passed since the day the strange horned man took in Mulgarath. They had settled into a life where the strange man would leave for periods leaving him to take care of the cabin…
Through the continued effort of all the researchers and scholars, the Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences has started the translation process for the second part of the Tale of Mulgarath. In this moment of his journey, the orphaned Mulgarath meets the Horned Man and hears an unrecognizable language. Translation “As he took a second in the basin to catch his breath and see where he had just fallen, a weird man crossed his path. The kid opened his eyes, noticing that someone had come to show any level of affection that he had never known in his short…
Another impressive discovery was made this week by the Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences. After months of research, scholars from the LDHNS translated the first part of the Tale of Mulgarath. Mulgarath was one of the great generals during the second Epoch of Lootian History, whose origins were one of great strife and toil. Even though he would become one of the fiercest enemies of The Great Empire, his beginnings were treacherous. Translation Solemn BeginningBorn or abandoned deep within the Great Medusa Forest in The Great Empire, he was a small, orphaned child of man. Too young to…
This week, the Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences revealed one more chapter of the Book of Talos. The fifth installment of the Book of Talos presents how the hero gets his first labor on his path to understanding his destiny. It was revealed to him by the Sokwe, mysterious creatures he met on the island. The Fifth Installment Translation “Talos explained how he was there to figure out his destiny and train, even not knowing what that meant at the time. The Sokwe stopped the conversation, as they had forgotten to lead with their names, getting intrigued by…
This week, the Lootian Department of History and Natural Sciences has translated the fourth installment of the Book of Talos. In this section, Talos finds a mentor to help him along his path, the Sokwe. As the hero continues his journey, he relies on destiny and fate to guide him. Translation “1:1-2-ii Shadowy Figure Talos uttered his first words with the knife still at his throat: ‘I am the firstborn son of Kempe. I have lived on the land and sea. How dare you try to contain me. If this knife is not removed from my throat, I will rend…
